There will always be a demand for clean, healthy teeth. Dentists like Gregory Abrams ensure that’s a possibility.
The Charlotte-based dentist runs Friendly Dental Group, a multi-group dental practice serving patients across their slice of South Carolina. Abrams founded his dentistry practice, he said, after realizing there was a strong need for affordable dental care in the region.
It’s a need that has kept business going and growing ever since. At their hearts, all dental businesses survive and thrive thanks to simple math: More people, more need for dental care.
The group survived the recession thanks to the strong demand for their services, but faced the typical challenges associated with an economic downturn as they tried to expand.
“Our biggest challenges over the last five years have been staffing and obtaining financing for new projects,” Abrams said.
That’s where Direct Capital came in. Abrams said he worked alongside the company to get financing for new equipment on numerous occasions, allowing his business to continue its expansion in the last couple of years.
“We have used Direct Capital several times to obtain financing for dental equipment. I am very satisfied with my loan officer and the ease of the loan application process,” he told me.
That’s led to undeniable success. Passionate about local youth sports teams, offering affordability and putting friendly faces next to the dental chair, Friendly Dental has become a fixture in the Charlotte and Ballaynte area.
“Our greatest success has been our ability to attract and serve many new residents in our community,” Abrams said.
