Big Things Happening For Small Businesses

Reading Time: 2 minutes

In April we shared an infographic that discussed what small business owners expected for the year.

Direct Capital took another survey to see if those numbers accurately reflected the behaviors of small business owners for 2014 so far.

Below is an infographic that explains our original estimated number vs. the accurate number  from our recent survey.

How would you have answered the following questions?

  1. Do you expect your business to grow in 2014?
  2. What will you invest in?
  3. How much do you plan to invest in your business in 2014?
  4. How will you get your money?

If you are a business that is not sure where you will receive the funding you need then Direct Capital can help. Visit our website and apply online.

SURVEY UPDATE

WHAT MAIN STREET AMERICA’S SMALL BUSINESSES ARE DOING IN 2014.

In December of 2013 Direct Capital, a leading direct lender to small businesses for over 20 years, asked small business owners across America what they were expecting in 2014.

In May of 2014, Direct Capital followed-up with small business owners to see how closely the estimates matched the actual numbers from the first quarter of the year. (See the graphic below for the full results of both surveys.)

As “America’s 28 million small businesses create two out of every three net new private sector jobs1,” Direct Capital feels privileged to have helped so many small business owners improve and expand their businesses.
