Video Recorder for small business

Video is king.

Today, if video isn’t part of your marketing and communication strategy, you’re lagging behind your competitors. It gives you a fast, convenient way to deliver sales pitches and talking points, and creates something more visually appealing than a wall of text. We say that as people who love text, by the way.

Thanks to advances in technology and the falling price of most electronics, it’s never been easier to get started with video. Here at Direct Capital, we have a JVC video camera and editing software, and we’re able to produce the kind of compelling content that has you waiting with bated breath (or so I assume).

To give you an idea of what you can do with video, we wanted to provide you with a look at a couple of our videos and link you to our entire video channel. We hope it will help you generate some ideas for your own small business video.

Share your video channel with us in the comments and let us know how you’re using video.

  1. Video is great content, and can be a huge factor in SEO.

Too many marketers think about SEO in terms of “getting my page to rank”, but good SEO is all about total domination of the search engine results page (SERP).

With Google serving up everything from local results, blog posts, news stories, images, and video, it’s possible for a smart marketing to have their content show up for multiple listing on a page. What does it say about your company if the results are your home page, a relevant blog post, and a YouTube posting? It says “these guys know what they’re talking about with regards to what I’m looking for”.
