Fall is arguably one of the best times of the year. Besides the pumpkin spice EVERYTHING and the beautiful colors that adorn the trees (at least up here in New England), it’s also a perfect time to get back in the saddle, refocus, and make Q4 remarkable for your business.
Here are three ideas you can leverage this fall to make your marketing ideas pop:
Hold a “can-do” event
Fall is traditionally a time when people are looking to give. The holidays will be upon us and there is no better time to feel like part of a community and give back. Things like a can drive at your business or offering customers a discount when they bring in canned and other nonperishable food items to donate to a local food pantry are ways to get people into your store.
Sponsor a team
Don’t own a storefront? Supporting young athletes in your town (or even regionally) helps get your name out in front of potential buyers. Chances are, your target audience isn’t for the under-13 demographic, but think of all the eyes that will be on the team for 10 weeks out of the year. Plus, it certainly helps that you are investing in the youth of your community!
Team up with local businesses
Speaking of teaming up, look to your fellow business owners and come up with an event or strategy with them. Perhaps think of a weekend where you could co-brand or pool funds together to host an event. This could be an autumn-themed weekend event with food, entertainment, and lots of special promotions or something that fits within your own community.
As you can see, being a part of community is huge when it comes to marketing efforts for your business. The more you can be a part of, and tap into that community, the more people will recognize your brand and tie it to other aspects of their lives that mean something to them.
